Richard is a passionate gardener who has extensive experience in business, consulting, environmental education and the local food movement. Richard coordinates the training program for Sustainable Gardening Australia, is an environmental educator for school children and adults at Edendale Community Environmental Farm in Eltham Victoria and operates a small worm farm maintenance business for office organic waste recycling. He also volunteers with Local Food Connect which runs the Eltham Farmers Market.
