He has always had a particular fascination for arthropods and the natural world, particularly spiders and insects (huntsman spiders and moths are currently his favourite). He has an impressive count of over 84,000 identification on the citizen science platform iNatuarlist and is currently working on a huntsman field guide for Australia.
